Data-Rich Interfaces & Pipelines: Design robust pipelines to ingest, normalize, and validate complex workforce data, building fast, search-optimized interfaces over large datasets.
Architecture & Engineering Bar: Make critical technical decisions, set quality standards through code reviews, testing, monitoring (Dash0, Sentry), and CI/CD without sacrificing shipping velocity.
Founding Team Collaboration: Partner directly with the founders and leadership to scope initiatives, evaluate technical tradeoffs, and drive business-critical outcomes.
Requirements:
Senior Full-Stack Expertise: Strong experience building, shipping, and maintaining web applications at scale using TypeScript, React, and relational databases (Postgres).
AI & LLM Integration: Hands-on experience building production features powered by LLMs, including evaluation, handling non-deterministic outputs, and agentic workflows.
Product-Minded Engineering: Proven ability to own projects end-to-end, bringing structure to complex problem spaces and focusing on tangible customer value.
High Ownership & Craftsmanship: Strong sense of accountability, commitment to code quality, and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Nice to Have:
Experience with TanStack (Start/Query), Drizzle ORM, or Pulumi.
Prior experience as an early-stage engineer in a high-growth startup environment.
Background or interest in CivicTech, GovTech, or HR Tech systems.
