Forward Deployed Engineer – AI Unicorn (Hybrid · Buenos Aires)

We're partnering with an AI unicorn in logistics and freight, backed by some of the best investors in the world — a16z, Y Combinator, and Base10 — that is scaling its team across LATAM. Its platform uses AI agents to automate the operations that today eat up hours of manual work in the industry, and it's growing fast.

We're looking for a versatile Forward Deployed Engineer who combines strong technical ability with excellent communication skills, working directly with customers to help them get the most out of the platform. You'll be involved in onboarding, implementation, and ongoing support, while also contributing to product development.

There's no role seniority or hierarchy here — the team operates as a group of builders. They execute, they build, they take ownership, and they care deeply about their customers and their success.

What you'll do

  • Customer-facing engineering — Work closely with customers from onboarding through daily usage, helping them integrate and optimize the AI solutions.

  • Technical development — Build new features, MVPs, and scalable solutions that directly impact customer outcomes.

  • Full-stack development — Use React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python to build robust applications and tools.

  • AI/ML applications — Design, implement, and iterate on AI/ML solutions, including LLM prompting and the tuning of voices and transcribers to optimize each use case.

  • Integrations & APIs — Manage APIs and integrations with third-party systems to ensure seamless functionality for customers.

  • Cross-functional collaboration — Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to deliver tailored solutions.

  • Iterative problem-solving — Continuously improve AI solutions based on customer feedback and evolving requirements.

  • Project management — Prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality results.

Must have

  • Strong, demonstrable full-stack experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.js.

  • Hands-on proficiency in Python.

  • Experience building AI/ML applications, including LLM prompting and tuning.

  • Ability to manage APIs and integrate with third-party systems.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
